Retail Distribution Manager

Company profile: Our Client is one of the leading FMCG manufactures in the region with four manufacturing divisions.

Position:Retails Distribution Manager

Department: Sales
Reporting to: Country Manager Kenya / GM Sales

Main responsibilities:

1. Ensure robust retail distribution is in place for Nairobi region with 85% availability of focus products at
retail
2. Implement low cost system for auditing and mapping retail routes
3. Create database with market map and retailer names / contacts

Routine Responsibilities

1. Co-ordination of on ground retails sales teams
2. Audit of retail market routes
3. Updating of market map
4. Correct allocation of POSM
5. Reporting of progress and retail availability
6. Regular audit of value streams and work areas to ensure sustenance

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree
2. Should have implemented and managed retail distribution for 5+ years
3. FMCG background
4. Speaks English and Swahili
