We are recruiting an experienced Customer Solution Manager to be at forefront in delivering the solutions and products that will make Airtel succeed in its business objectives.

Job Purpose

The Customer Solutions Manager leads the technical interface towards the customer, and is Customer Solutions Responsible in Ericsson's Core 3 organization structure.
 

In this role, you to take an active role in creating awareness of technology advances, in selling established and new products from the entire Ericsson product portfolio, and in ensuring customer satisfaction with the delivered solution.

Part of the CSM duties will be to support regional design and planning activities in Ghana and other Northwest Region markets.

Job Description
 
  • Present and offer Ericsson's product portfolios and technical solutions in response to Airtel's needs and in support of their strategies to remain competitive in the telecommunication industry.
  • Design, plan, offer and order the required additional traffic capacity expansion need to support Airtel growth and expansion plans in the region
  • Support and mentor junior CSM in their efforts to fulfil both managed capacity and new sales opportunities
  • Assist the project and rollout team in the deliver of proposed solution deliverables
  • Functionally support a team of remote network planners in their efforts to correctly dimension and design Airtel networks in the region
  • Identify opportunities to improve or add functionality on products and solutions
  • Conduct technical marketing by presenting technical solutions and products to customer
  • Create solutions strategies that optimize the network cost and price. Support development of business cases to justify adoption of new technology.
  • Define, manage and verify solutions in customer projects, including handling and management of third party products and suppliers.
  • Serve as "Solutions Responsible" for new offers, including creation of the network design, preparation of the Bill of Quantity using ECP and VERDI tools, and completion of the Statement of Compliance
  • Establish and maintain key technical relationships within Airtel through formal and informal interactions.
  • Coordinate activities with business unit and regional support organizations. Ensure that they remain informed of customer initiatives and project progress, and that they deliver needed project input.
  • Ensure that the work within the area of responsibility is performed in accordance with: Ericsson Business Processes, goals, policies and directives, Customer requirements, agreements and commitments
Qualifications

Professional / Technical
 
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Electronic Engineering with a post grade business qualification MBA or such
  • Minimum 8 years in the Mobile Systems network environment with at least 3 years relevant professional experience in dealing with telecom operators
  • Good knowledge of Ericsson configuration tools such Verdi, ECP, SAP, Ester & Piwin
  • Familiarity with Ericsson work processes and procedures
  • Technical knowledge of the Ericsson portfolio

Overall purpose of Account EP Analyst:

The overall purpose of the EP Analyst is to reduce the workload and/or to support the EP Business Operations and Development department with specialist knowledge in the area of business analysis, general administration and documentation.

The responsibilities mainly consist of assisting the team members within the EP Business Operations and Development department with analysis of key business metrics, ensuring that all required documentation such as scheduling, progress reporting, document updating etc, required throughout the different facets of the department is provided and archived correctly and completely according to best practice and local policies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Measure, analyse and report on key Engagement Practice metrics such as Orders Booked, Time Reporting, Organisational Management.
  • Prepare presentation and discussion material for the RSSA EP Leadership Team.
  • Analyse and report on the Sales Funnel and Key Deals.
  • Administer, develop and maintain required administration documentation in assigned task defined areas.
  • Support the Business Readiness Manager in administering NPI (New Product Introduction) and PDM (Priority Deals Matrix) and support activities/ venue/ meetings arrangements.
  • Prepare and monitor the status of documentation to applicable stakeholders, including the creation, updating and reporting of NPI and PDM documents / reports.
  • Support Business Readiness Manager in ensuring that all documentation required, will be collected correctly and completely.
  • Continually monitor and revise the PDM as and when required.
  • Support the Planning & Competence Manager in the administration of the RDM (Resource Development Matrix) together with the Line Managers of the Practices.
  • To prepare accurate and timely reports as requested by the Head of Business Operations & Development.
Main Activities:
  • Creates and maintains the PDM in the document management system (EriDoc), and administration of access control for stakeholders.
  • Creates and maintains the EriColl site for central access to reports and documentation.
  • Creates and maintains all stakeholder and distribution lists.
  • Administers, develops and maintains required administration including meeting preparation and documentation in assigned tasks.
  • Supports the Business Readiness Manager in administering PDM and NPI project activities/ venue/ meetings arrangements.

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Reporting to the Chief Quantity Surveyor the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the following:
§  Preparation of Bills of Quantities and tender documents.
§  Conducting project feasibility studies and preparation of feasibility reports.
§  Assessment of tenders and preparation of tender reports.
§  Planning, analysis as well as preparation of final accounts.
§  Preparation of cost estimates for construction projects as well as cost administration of such projects.
§  Supervision of construction works and advising the Chief Quantity Surveyor on matters of construction contracts and participation in project site meetings.
Job Requirements
§  Possess a Bachelors of Arts degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Economics from a recognized University
§  Have nine (9) years post graduate experience in Quantity Survey work in a busy environment.
§  Be registered by the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors for at least six (6) years.
§  Be computer literate in the use of Quantity Surveying software, preferably Win- Qs.
