Our Client, a Building and Construction firm wishes to recruit a qualified dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This position will be based in the North and South Coast region.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
Pricing and estimating contracts (including administration cost estimates)Tendering
Quantity Take-Offs together with preparation of schedule materials
Re-measurements
Preparation of contractual claims (arising and interim valuations) and final accounts.
Supervision of sub-contractors
Liaise with clients, councils and consultants for contract issues
Contracts administration
Progress monitoring
Adhere to all QSHE procedures, policies and instructions
Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time
Minimum Academic & Professional requirements:
Applicant MUST be a holder of a Diploma in Building / Civil (Quantity Surveying)2 to 3 years exp in the same capacity
Registered by the Board of registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS)
Computer literate and competent in MS Excel and MS Word, hands on experience in Auto Cad
Analytical, Good Communication, and Teamwork Skills
